2023 : AMUWO ODOFIN LIBERATION PROJECT TO ENSURE NO IMPOSITION OF CANDIDATES BY POLITICAL PARTIES

A grassroot pressure group known as Amuwo Odofin Liberation Project has come out with a stern warning for political parties in what it describes as “No To Impossition‘ of candidates by political parties based in Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency as Nigeria prepares for the 2023 general elections.

Concerned about the situation where popular candidates were forced on the people, the group through its media unit lamented what happened in the 2019 House of Representatives and House of Assembly primaries where candidates in one of the leading political parties were imposed on Amuwo Odofin Community – a situation which has led to the abysmal performances of such persons. The era of political paymasters and highest bidder will no longer be accepted if we must improve in our democratic experience.

Push News can confirm that as it is mobilisation is ongoing across all political parties and group to ensure any form of imposition is resisted by the people.

AMUWO ODOFIN MUST BE LIBERATED FROM CHRONIC MISREPRESENTATION

The Amuwo Odofin Liberation Project will be putting out an independent analysis and narratives about the current elected Representatives at both the Lagos State House of Assembly and Federal House of Representatives as we progress into another election cycle starting from 2022. 
We would also be having strategic alliances with the Civil Society Organizations both within and outside the constituency towards ensuring that no candidate is imposed on the electorates in any of the registered political parties. The peoples will/votes must determine the candidates of the respective political parties that will be participating in the 2023 general elections in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area. 

Furthermore, we will be exposing the chronic misrepresentation and abysmal performances of current representatives for the people to adjudge their representation over the years. 
The Liberation of Amuwo Odofin is beyond anybody’s selfish interest and not open to negotiation.

Amuwo Odofin must be liberated from selfish aggrandizement and chronic misrepresentation.
We want to sound a note of warning  to those who have been empowered one or the other to cause mayhem in the community because of any politician selfish interest. In your own interest collect your empowerment and remain calm otherwise you will be left to suffer the consequences of your actions.

This is to also wish everyone a fulfilling and very rewarding New year devoid of any *sakamaje*.
