2023 : APC MEETS LAGOS TRADE FAIR BUSINESS OWNERS AS OBANIKORO RE-ASSURES STATE COMMITMENTS TO GROWTH AT DINNER
Lagos Trade Fair Business Community got a message of reassurance from former Minister of State for Defense, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro yesterday, who reiterated the commitment of the APC led administration in Lagos State to sustain strategic investment in infrastructure to bolster productivity, energise business growth and protect private investments regardless of tribal sentiments as been expressed in certain quarters of the State.
The Apex Leader in Badagry Division during an interactive dinner with the Organised Private Sector Business Owners in Trade fair, spoke of the state’s economic redistribution plans aimed at expanding the Lagos business district to suburbs in the western and eastern parts of the State.

The dialogue was part of the strategic stakeholders’ engagements initiated by the APC leadership to consult with all critical stakeholders and to keep business leaders and captains of industry in the loop of the comprehensive economic policies of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Sanwo-Olu as the general elections approaches.
According to Obanikoro, the steady growth rate being recorded by the state economy testified to the efficient supervision and accountability process instituted in the management of the public finances by the Sanwo-Olu led government, hence, the need to consolidate on this achievements appeals to all stakeholders to vote the APC for a second term.

The GAC member also stressed that these foundation was laid by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who he described as the architect of modern Lagos and highly detribalized.
Speaking further, the Awori born politician said a Tinubu’s government at the Federal would give room to allow the private sector to thrive by not interfering unwittingly in its growth thereby opening rooms for progressive collaborations as evident during his eight years as a governor.

“Thus, where the private sector is doing well, a Tinubu’s government will not interfere. Our guiding principle regarding economic policy shall be to provide the right policy framework so that business can flourish.
“But we want to do more than help existing businesses to exist. We must create the space where new sectors and lines of business can open. We want to grow this economy so that businesses at the Trade Fair can accommodate of millions people with a decent standard of living and the needed international exposures”
“The APC government will collaborate with the private sector to bring about massive infrastructural renewal that enhance economic opportunities, lower business cost and overheads while producing jobs that spur further growth and development through increased consumer demand. This is the virtuous economic cycle we seek to create,” he added.

Obanikoro stressed that all tribes in Lagos State has enjoined peaceful co-existence and hopes that same collaborations will translate to electoral victories for all the APC candidates.
In his interactions with the media …APC stalwarts in Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, Captain Adebayo Olaobaoluwaju Dosunmu lauded the various efforts by Sen Obanikoro to ensure the party victory is assured, noting that this efforts will go a long way to get the commitments of the voters in Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency to ensure victory for the party.
The leadership and members of the Trade Fair Business Owners were elated at the planning and quality of discussions at the dinner which they agreed that it has in no doubt changed their perception about the upcoming general elections and would ensure victory for all the APC candidates so as to ensure the consolidation of their yearnings as business concerns.
