The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State on Monday inaugurated and sworn in its new state executive council members.

Amongst those who made the honours list is the immediate past Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA, Com Ayodele Adewale
Push News 24 International reports that a former National Legal Adviser of APC, Mr Babatunde Ogala, administered the oath of office on the new state officers.

Also inagurated is a former lawmaker at the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), Rt. Hon Bola Badmus-Olujobi.

The Chairman, Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), the highest decision-making body in Lagos APC, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, presented certificates to all the 37 state officers.

Comrade Ayo Adewale a House of Representatives aspirant in Amuwo Odofin was sworn-in as Organizing Secretary while Hon Badmus was inaugurated as Lagos West Senatorial Woman Leader.

In his address, State Chairman of the Party, Mr Cornelius Ojelabi, who had earlier been inaugurated by the national body, said the state executives would elevate fairness and equity in running its affairs.

Ojelabi said that the Lagos APC was in dire need of all genuine compatriots to build a better party for all.

He said, “We are all involved in strengthening the party to an enviable position.

“All of us have the responsibility to make APC a truly progressive party where oppression and partiality will no longer be the order of the day.

“We shall henceforth give priority to justice and equity so that everyone’s goals and aspirations can be in relative peace. There will be no room for injustice.”

The pedigree , political experience of both officers from Amuwo Odofin has distinguished them amongst their peers. With unquestionably loyalty and commitments to party supremacy the duo are in position to redirect the political fortunes of Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency.
