YOU ARE THE “MASTER KEY”, HON JIMI BENSON EULOGIZE LAGOS HEAD OF SERVICE @ 50

Honourable Babajimi Benson popularly called JB or James Bond, who is the House of Representatives Member for Ikorodu Federal Constituency in Lagos State, and also doubles as the Chairman, House Committee on Defence has described the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri Okunola as the “Master Key”.

JB made this remarks in his goodwill message personally signed by him on his social media platform where the lawmaker tried to reminiscence his relationship with the number one civil servant in Lagos State.

“I heartily celebrate with a friend turned brother on the occasion of his golden jubilee birthday. “

“It has been a pleasure sustaining our brotherhood for over three decades that our paths crossed at the eve of our Matriculation into the Lagos State University.”

“You have always reflected the ‘masterkey’ name in your calling as the 21st Lagos State Head of Service”.

Benson who was formerly the General Counsel at the Lagos State Development & Property Corporation (LSDPC) described the HOS management of Lagos Civil Service as excellent.

“…Your knowledge, capacity, professional experience and youthful energy deployed to Lagos State public service, even at 50 is exemplary to other public service institutions in Nigeria and indeed Africa.”

The former Legal Counsel to both Lead Bank and Ecobank who also worked as Legal Officer ( General Counsel Division) at United Nations HQ in NewYork said Muri Okunola has a promising future.

“Attaining 50 years is not a joke but in this short time you have achieved so much, yet the future remains promising” JB said.

Push News 24 International confirms that Mr Hakeem Olayinka Muri-Okunola was born in Lagos Island on the 7th January, 1972. He was appointed Permanent Secretary in 2015 and later the Head of Service on 28th December 2018 being the most senior ranking member of the Body of Permanent Secretaries in Lagos State.
